Hi Reader!! I wanted to do a little wrap-up of my collection launch and then tell you about my BIG new project, so keep reading... ;)

Wow this has been a busy (but good busy) week. I cannot thank you enough for the support that everyone has shown me during this launch. When I decided to create an entire collection of pygmy hippos earlier this year, I was like: I LOVE hippos, but I have no idea how they'll sell.

I'm so grateful for every purchase, share, and even the sweet messages and comments you've left me. I appreciate your support more than you know.

I spent 7 hours yesterday packing and shipping all of your orders, so the hippos are officially on their way out into the world. 🦛🦛🦛

I spent my birthday at Tanganyika Wildlife Park, and got to meet Keeper Sierra, give her my original pickle hippo art, and meet Mars & Posie the pygmy hippos!

It's not too late to collect yours: I have just a few original paintings left, as well as prints, cards, and stickers.

Okay, now onto my next project:

By now you probably know my art bestie Briana Fitzpatrick. We love to collab on art projects and travel together. We've been to Hawaii, Costa Rica, California, and now we're teaming up again to not only go on another trip, but we'll be spending the next 2 months creating a super exciting collaborative project.

Bri and I will be painting 400 mini canvases (200 each) to create not only a big collection but another large artwork when we meet up in approx 2 months (location is secret for now) to piece all of these mini paintings together.

I’m going to give you a first look of the 4 paintings I’ve completed so far for our collection. That means only 196 more to go for me to paint, so wish me luck and lots of tea to get through these!!

We're both pumped to get started on this project, I'll be painting roughly 4 every day. phew.

One last update before I call it a night.. I met a cute otter named Wasubi this week and he painted this canvas for me in my favorite colors. I'm trying to decide if I should paint his portrait on top, or keep it as is and hang it in my studio..
